Hey,
I wanted
to let you know I just finished another episode "Charmed."
I'm not going to tell you want episode, or what character
I played, but I will tell you this, "I've come full
circle."
It was
nice to hang out with Julian and Brian again. Those guys
are just so cool. And of course the girls are awesome too.
I haven't been back there since I was killed off as Belthazor,
so it was kind of like a big family reunion. They missed
me!!!
Besides
that, I've been really busy. This year, I've Guest Starred
on "The Division" and "Malcolm in the Middle."
On the "The Division" I played a tattoo artist
names Skull. They put 29 tattoos on me and 6 were on my
head! Pretty cool.
In "Malcolm
in the Middle" I played this pycho coach that goes
ballistic over his soccer players who are about 6 to 8 years
old. It was pretty funny stuff and I had a great time.
Other
than that, I've been doing the play, "Doing Judy",
4 nights a week. Believe it or not, it's become a hit. Every
night has been sold out and it's been awesome. HBO and Extra
came the other night to do pieces on us. The play's run
got extended to the end of March. There has been rumors
that the play's going to San Fran and Chicago and NewYork.
Of course I can't go because of the family and my career,
but at least I can say, "I was a part of the origina
cast!" Oh, I forgot, Julian is coming to my play one
of these nights. I got him tickets. He'll have a blast!
On the
home front, my wife's doing great and the new baby will
be here in a couple of months (May 5th). Man, it just seemed
like yesterday when we found out she was pregnant.
Well,
that about it! And YES, I know, my site is not up yet. I've
just had no time to think or sit or do anything. Sorry about
that. I'll try to get up in the next few weeks.
Hey,
one last thing. As you know, I'm in "Men in Black II."
It's a small but memorable part. We'll the producers called
the other day and said that they are going to do a "trading
card" of my character. Pretty cool!!! That's all I
know about it for far.
See
ya later...

| Hey,
I told
Kelly that my website will be up by January 7th. Well, I
spoke a little to soon. It looks like its going to
be delayed another week or so. Im sorry about that.
Remember,
Ive been in the business for over 10 years now, and
Ive gathered a lot of stuff. I have over 200 images
and almost 50 video clips that Im posting. Plus I
have a lot of cool stories about some of the things that
have happened to me along the way. Its going to be
a pretty awesome site, very extensive and I hope, very fun.
The
theme of the site is The Journey of an
Actor. And thats where I want to take you, on
my journey, as an actor, in this crazy town of Hollywood.
Ill
let you know when its ready!

Hey
all.
Thanks for all of your emails. I've been trying to keep up
but it gets difficult at times.
And
thanks for a special place for me to post. The board is
really cool and I think it's the best out there. Thanks
Matt!!
As for
the petition, again thanks. I'm flattered that you guys
would start one for me. I'm awestruck that so many people
have signed it! Pretty cool. Remember, there's always a
chance I'll be back, one way or another. Maybe even without
makeup. You never know. This is crazy business and crazy
things happen.
There's
been some talk about a Chat with me. I know Kelly wants
to do it but because it's close to Christmas and I know
she has to save for gifts for friends and family, I'll make
an offer. I'll pay for the cost of the chat. I guess before
I say that I should probably ask how much it costs. How
much does it cost? If it's not like a thousand dollars or
so, then lets do it! If it's too expensive and my wife finds
out, she'll kill me.
I'm
doing play rehearsal for the next two weeks so my nights
are pretty busy. How about on a Sunday?
So,
what else is happening... Master of Disguise went really
well. Dana Carvey and I had some really funny stuff together.
They really played on the size difference between the two
of us. I think it's going to be a great film. It supposed
to be out around March. Wow, I have three films coming out
about that time, "Undisputed", "Master of
Disguise" and "Men in Black II." Man, that's
crazy.
I just
finished a Film Short. It's called "Blood Shot."
It's a comedy about a vampire who is a member of a secret
government organization called V.D. (Vampire Division).
My job is to rid the world of scumbags. I befriend a cop
whose been trying to kill me and together we stop a evil
terrorist cell from taking over LA. It's pretty funny, with
a lot of action and of course a lot of blood, hence the
name "Blood Shot." It's my friends Senior Film
Project. He's known in his school for doing the coolest
student films. I think it's going to be pretty good.
Well,
that's about it! I want to wish everybody a great holiday
and hopefully we can get this Chat thing together. It might
be a lot of fun!
Oh,
one last thing and it's the best. We found out that we're
going to have another boy! Wow, three guys in the house,
my wife will be surrounded.
Take
care.

Hey,
Thanks for wishing me a happy birthday. You guys are great.
Lately, I've been putting in long hours on
"Master of Disguise" but today I got the day off.
I guess someone's looking out for me.
Every year on my birthday, my wife bakes me a triple-layer
German Chocolate cake. She only bakes it once a year and it's
always on my birthday. I can't wait until I come home today
because it will be waiting for me. Its incredible.
I feel like such a little kid.
Thanks
for all of your emails. I'll try to replay to all of them
but Ive been putting in 12 to 15 hours a day on the
film and its been kicking my butt. But I love it!
As for
my site, Ive been gathering as much info as I can
to make the site as interesting as possible; everything
from baby pictures (one of you requested that
. Kelly),
to gawky high school pictures, to video clips, to video
screen caps. Plus, some really cool stories about the business
and whats happened in my life. I know I keep saying,
Just a few more weeks, but its still going
to take a few more weeks. I just want to make the site as
perfect as possible before its released. Plus my publicist
wants to do a big press release on it. She looked at some
of the preliminary stuff and she thinks its going
to be pretty cool and very unique. Well see
Well,
thats about it for now. My mom called me at 6:00 A.M.
this morning singing, Happy Birthday just like
she did when I was 10 years old. I dont think shes
ever missed a year. Moms
theyre pretty cool.

| Hey,
This
is Michael Bailey Smith. I checked out Kelly's new Unofficial
Michael Bailey Smith web site and all I can say is WOW!
I don't know what I did to deserve such an awesome site.
It's just fantastic. Looking it over, I actually had tears
in my eyes. No kidding. I've been in the business for 10
years and this is the first time people have noticed my
work and have begun to support me. I mean, yeah, I get comments
on the street like, Are you an actor? or "Hey,
I just you on TV last night." or "You look familiar.
Have we met?" But this is the first time someone has
really taken the time, noticed the work Ive put in
and done this sort of thing. Kelly, what can I say, you're
just awesome. And like you said on your site; A friend
for life.
And
to top it off, I've got Stephanie from all the way across
the Atlantic Ocean, in Germany, building a site for me.
Incredible!
And
to top that off, I've got all of you who read this board
and post here, all supporting me. I'm awed by all of you.
Well,
you probably have been wondering whats been going
on. I've just finished doing another episode of Charmed
as Belthazor. The show is called, "Black as Cole."
And let me tell you, it will be an episode that you will
not forget. I promise you. Its supposed to air on
November 15. So, grab your popcorn and hold on because it's
going to be a wild ride.
Currently,
I'm working on the Dana Carvey film, "Master of Disguise".
I'm the right-hand man to the lead bad guy who played by
Brent Spiner. He was on Star Trek - Next Generation. Yesterday
I had a really good scene with Dana that turned out really
well. I heard through the grapevine that Dana and the producers
really like what I'm doing and they what to do a lot more
fun stuff with me in the film. They liked the fact that
I'm so big and scary, compared to Dana whos a lot
smaller than me. It's a good contrast. On my first day on
the set, Dana comes over to me, sees how big I am and turns
to the producers and director and says, Good casting.
Pretty funny. Im having a great time and the film
should be out, I think, in the summer.
So,
what else is happening
Well, I booked a play. I didnt
come from a theatre background so this is going to be good
for me. Its an original play called, Doing Judy.
Its a comedy about a cop who has to go undercover
as a Drag Queen to find the person whos
been murdering Judy Garland impersonators. Im the
cops partner, Lucky, who gay. But the
twist is, Im a gay cop who is butch and
into leather but homophobic against Drag Queens
and the real effeminate gays. In the end, I have to go undercover
as a Drag Queen to save my partner. (You know, what
goes around, comes around, sort of thing.) The play
is really funny and Im looking forward to the challenge.
We open January 19th and it will run for 8 weeks at the
Matrix Theatre in Hollywood. Because I work a lot in film
and television, I have an understudy, just in case I cant
make a performance.
Oh,
and here is the best news of all. My wife and I are going
to have another baby! Well
shes going to have
it; Im just going to watch. Right now she has morning
sickness, so she's not happy. She keeps saying, This
is your fault. Im like, What
What'd
I do? Its due in April/May and we dont
care what it is, just as long as its healthy.
Again
thanks your support. No matter what happens in the future
I hope we will always stay in contact. You guys have made
my life as an actor that much more special.

| Hey,
This
is Michael Bailey Smith. You know, the big guy who plays
"Belthazor" and that funky demon "Shax."
I would
like to thank Kelly for making me aware of this site and
allowing me access. You're awesome! And also thanks to that
crazy girl in Germany, Stephanie. She created those cool
wallpapers that are great! Plus, all of you who have posted
cools things about my work. Its nice that someone notices
your work sometimes.
Well,
I've been very fortunate lately. I just booked another movie.
It's called, "Master of Disguise" and it stars
Dana Carvey. I've playing the lead Henchman who is not the
smartest tool in the shed. I think it's going to be pretty
funny. At least I hope. I start working on it tomorrow.
The
great part is that it works out with my schedule. I'm slated
to go back on Charmed October 10th through the 19th and
the film works perfectly around that.
I haven't
been on the Charmed for the past several weeks and I kind
of miss it. The make-up FX are not that fun but the cast
and crew are great. When I go back it's like seeing old
friends.
Thanks
again for everything and now that I have access, I'll try
to post more often.
- Michael
